Shop with Scrip Fundraiser

Shop With Scrip is an ongoing fundraiser with regular order deadlines and no ending date.

Scrip is essentially gift cards that you purchase from the BPO at face value. The BPO can purchase these cards at a discount (the percentage varies by retailer) and you get 90% of that discount deposited into your student’s band account. It can be used to help pay for band expenses such as band tours, jazz ensemble fees, Winterguard, Winter Drumline, Eagle Band, Band Camp, private music lessons and more.

The list of retailers changes regularly, as does the percentage that we can make from each retailer. They often run specials, where you can get a higher contribution for a limited amount of time.

How much can you make with this fundraiser? It varies according to how much work you want to put into it. Families who are diligent can make over $500 for their student’s account. And although it is by no means required, a resourceful student can sell gift cards at face value to relatives, neighbors and friends, and make a whole lot more.

Once you’ve learned about the program and have decided to participate, here are a few things you need to know:

Our Scrip Coordinator will place orders for plastic gift cards on the 1st and 15th of each month. (Emailed gift vouchers, called ScripNow, are sent immediately upon receipt of payment.) Use the Scrip ACH option called PrestoPay to make your payment.

You are responsible for picking up the cards from the Scrip Coordinator. Details about time and place will be communicated to you after you order.
